
The Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum’s 2009 award winners were announced. Hood Design won the landscape design award. Hood’s projects include the landscape for the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, and Poplar Street, a green boulevard in the heart of downtown Macon, Georgia.
Andrea Cochran Landscape Architecture, and Rios Clementi Hale Studios were finalists for the landscape design award. Last year, OLIN won the 2008 landscape design award.
