Hi Pat
Thank you for your comment. It is all about the small incremental changes that landscape architects can make not only in formulating HOW to change the nature of a street, but in engaging community to be involved in tiny little fixes along the way. It all adds up to a tremendous environment that serves as a learning tool for best practices in sustainability and in community.
Best wishes

Thanks for all your hard work in developing the plan for the green streets in Vancouver! I was at this educational session and it was awesome. It makes me think about how much improvement still needs to be made in practically every city and suburb still. At the same time, you all gave such good examples showing how easy this all can be. Thanks a million!
