Happy Birthday, Mr. Olmsted

Today marks the 185th anniversary of the birth of Frederick Law Olmsted, the founder of American landscape architecture. The span of Olmsted’s work ranged from Central Park in New York City to the grounds of the U.S. Capitol to dozens of college campuses and local parks.
